Head Office Fitout for Cold Storage Company

Project Brief

The brief from our client was to design and build an office that aligns with Emergent Cold’s practical and employee cultural aspirations. This company operates a cold storage facility and warehouse in Dandenong, with an existing head office and staff area over two floors. Emergent Cold’s management wanted spaces for team collaboration, a new kitchen and bathroom, reception and audiovisual equipment for board meetings.

The client also asked for an open plan approach for workstations that blended design and functionality. The refurbishment stretched across the two floors and each floor needed to be unique but still part of the same family and foster a connection with the natural environment.

Design and Scope of Works

Working with the existing building, Vision Corporate Interior’s team conducted the initial interior design consultation and provided draft plans. Once adjusted and approved, the following scope of works was undertaken.

Breakout spaces that inspire collaboration for team-based assignments
Co-ordination of the total fitout over two floors
Strip out the existing flooring and new flooring throughout
Painting on both levels
Furniture supply and installation that maintains corporate identity
New kitchen and furniture
AV facilities allowing for large boardroom meetings
New Reception area

The Result

This project was built on time and on budget. Staff engagement and interaction increased. Significant increase in property valuation after renovation was complete.
